John Latsch DNR

Visited this small park in 2007. I'm surprised it hasn't been downgraded to a state wayside, especially after they got rid of camping. Anyway, the trail to the top o' the bluff is up up UP. Surprisingly though, it did take me an hour, like the sign says, to go up and down. Worth the views, but if you don't want to risk a heart attack go to Frontenac or Great River Bluffs.

So it begins....

and it just keeps going....

Not at the top yet...but here's the view

The summit is reached! Looking north

Looking south at Lock & Dam #5

Time to go back

Wow...I was all the way up there?!
