Temperance River DNR

Visited here in 2006 and camped in 2008. Enjoyed this park a lot. Like Gooseberry, there is a fun rocky area to walk around by the lake shore. Then there is a trail (Superior Hiking Trail) on the east side of the river that continues on the Carlton Peak. The hike to the summit wasn't too bad, but there were some rocky areas to climb over. Camped at #45 in the lower campground. Stayed in late May and we were the only ones there.

Not at the summit yet, but the view was better here

They aren't joking when they call this Hidden Falls
