Location: Hinckley. I-35 exit 180. Appx 80 mi N of Twin Cities

Lodging: drive-in campgrounds, walk-in sites, canoe sites, group camp, group center, horse camp, guest houses, cabins

Activities: hiking, biking, playground, boating, canoeing, swimming, horseback riding

Lake/River: St. Croix River, Kettle River

Special Attractions: fire tower, Willard Munger State Trail

Camp site

Camped here in 2006. This is a large park with mostly everything being accessible by car. I enjoyed the Kettle River Highbanks and Big Eddy areas. The fire tower was also fun to climb and had nice views. This park is very busy during the summer.
