Nerstrand-Big Woods DNR

Have visited this park many times. I enjoy hiking here through the woods with most of the trails being fairly hilly. Haven't gone on any of the trails south of the road yet. The waterfall is scenic, but will tend to dry up if there's been little rainfall during the year. The walk-in sites here are pretty nice. It's really not even a walk since you can park right at each site and then it's just a very short distance to the campsite. A couple group camp areas are across the road from the walk-in sites.

Always a favorite spot...which unfortunately no longer exists after it flooded
